Your Wedding
Deserves a Proper
Dance Floor

I've been making Garden Route weddings and events unforgettable for over 20 years. Let me do the same for yours.

"He was extremely professional and made sure all the required songs were set prior to the day. Zero stress on the day, and the guests had a blast." — Simon Miszewski

More Than a DJ — A Complete Wedding Entertainment Service

A wedding isn't a nightclub. It's an emotional journey with distinct chapters — the quiet anticipation of a ceremony, the warm hum of cocktail hour, the build through dinner, and the euphoria of the dance floor long after midnight. Each moment needs a different touch, and I've spent two decades learning exactly what that touch is.

I handle the full audio-visual picture: ceremony sound, mic management for officiants and speeches, background music through dinner, and a full DJ set for the reception. You don't need to juggle multiple vendors for sound and entertainment — I cover it all.

Our dance floor was NEVER empty — and every time we needed a break, he'd drop another banger and we just could not leave.

— Jenna-Leigh Murray, Beach Club Wedding

I'm also known for working independently. On your wedding day you'll be busy — with family, photos, and the moments that matter. You shouldn't have to babysit your DJ. I arrive, set up, read the room, and deliver. Every time.

02

From Ceremony to Last Song

Here's what I bring to every wedding and event — no hidden extras, no last-minute surprises.

01

Ceremony Sound

Processional, signing, and recessional music. Wireless microphone for your officiant. I handle the sound so the moment lands exactly as it should.

02

Cocktail Hour

The right background music sets the mood while guests arrive and mingle. Lounge, jazz, acoustic — whatever fits your vibe. I take care of it.

03

Dinner Music

Music that complements conversation rather than competing with it. Warm, tasteful, and calibrated to the room as it fills.

04

Reception DJ Set

This is where I earn my keep. I read the crowd, build the energy, and keep the dance floor moving from the first track to the final song.

05

PA System & Lighting

Professional-grade speakers, subwoofer, and DJ lighting — properly sized for your venue. The sound is crisp, the light adds atmosphere, and nothing is left to chance.

06

MC & Mic Management

Speeches, announcements, first dance introductions — I manage the microphone and help speakers feel at ease. More than one client has mentioned this as something they hadn't expected but were grateful for.

03

No Stress. No Surprises. Just Great Music.

I've refined this process across hundreds of weddings. It's designed to take things off your plate, not add to them.

01

We Chat on WhatsApp

Reach out to check availability and tell me about your day. I'll ask the right questions about your venue, guest count, style, and what matters most to you musically. No forms, no jargon — just a conversation.

02

We Lock In Your Date

Once we're aligned, I'll confirm your booking and your date is secured. I take a limited number of weddings per season to make sure every event gets my full attention.

03

We Build Your Playlist

In the weeks before your wedding, we go through the details — your must-plays, your must-nots, the first dance, the last song. I come to your day knowing exactly what you want and what you don't.

04

I Take It From There

On the day, I arrive early, set up fully, and handle everything. You won't hear from me unless you want to. You'll just hear great music — and so will your guests, for a long time afterwards.

Things Couples Usually Ask Me

Do you travel outside Plettenberg Bay?
Absolutely. I regularly play weddings across the Garden Route — Knysna, George, Wilderness, The Crags, Sedgefield and beyond. I've also travelled to Cape Town and Johannesburg for destination events. Travel is factored into the quote.
How far in advance should I book?
Popular dates — especially peak wedding season from October to April — book up fast. I'd recommend locking in your date as early as possible. That said, don't hesitate to reach out even if your date is close; I may still be available.
Can we give you a must-play and do-not-play list?
Yes — and I actively encourage it. Knowing your must-plays ensures the moments that matter most to you land perfectly. Knowing your do-not-plays means there are no surprises. I'll also ask what kind of overall vibe you're going for and build the night around that.
What happens if something goes wrong with your equipment?
I carry backup equipment to every event — spare cables, backup audio sources, and contingency plans. In over 20 years I've never left a dance floor dark. I come prepared precisely because I know what's at stake.
Do you do the MC work too?
I manage announcements and introductions — first dance, cake cutting, speech cues, and the like. I also help speakers feel comfortable on the mic, which more than one couple has mentioned as a unexpected bonus on the day.
What's the best way to reach you?
WhatsApp is the fastest and most reliable way to get hold of me. I respond quickly and it keeps everything in one thread. You'll find the button below — just tap and say hi.
